The Trustees of The Gold Service Scholarship mourn the loss of Willy Bauer OBE, who together with the other founding Trustees, developed the Scholarship ten years ago.
Willy was an iconic figure in the hotel industry. He passionately believed in the importance of front of house food and beverage service, ensuring that the Scholarship should be there to help develop future leaders of our industry, and encouraging more young people to enter the profession. His dedication, contribution and inspiration will be sorely missed.
